How to start healing yourself holistically
Are you feeling confused about which way to go, or where to start? When most of us approach mid-life we carry with us years of habit-forming thoughts and behaviors, repeated unconscious patterns in our lives, sudden weight gain, and mood swings ~ a wake-up call to how we are living our lives. I like to think of mid-life as a gift from the universe to start over and better, to be better, not younger, healthier, not skinnier.
In this step you will:
- Understand what happens to your body as you age and why moving it is so important (the roles of cortisol and insulin, it’s not only about estrogen!)
- Uncover your biggest challenge to getting regular exercise or discover what you most enjoy doing for movement
- Strengthen or cultivate a yoga practice
- Create your own sleep hygiene and consider other tools for a great night of sleep, night after night
Tools you’ll receive:
Suggestions for minimizing your risk for osteoporosis (yes, men get osteoporosis too), tips for finding movement in the day to day, and exercise ideas like jumping rope again!
